Atlas NW comes from excellent dressage lines and is an excellent future sport prospect. He is reasy to handle, but has enormous presence and is a very balanced, uphill mover with great scope and suspension. He started his formal under saddle training in the fall of 2015 and is coming along nicely.
The sire Rubignon was listed for the Swedish Dressage team in 2008 and 2009 has 17 GP wins and placings including international wins in his name. His pedigree reflects 4 generations of Grand Prix and international performance up to the Olympic level. Rubinestein's dam Antine was also dam of Amon (Olympic for the Netherlands) and Dr. Reiner Klimke's exceptional Ahlerich (multiple Gold medalist). Rubignon’s dam Una Donn’ is from the “Utoba” stamm with Samun xx and Vollkorn xx on the bottom. This Stamm produced the licensed stallions Azzarro, Landtinus, the international jumper Figaro’s Boy (Ludger Beerbaum). In 2011 Rubignon’s son Replay earned a spot on the Swedish team. His first competition representing Sweden yielded placings in the Baltic Grand Prix championships making them the highest placed Swedish combination.
Donnerhall as dam sire needs little introduction. He is currently the world's most successful dressage horse producer, his son De Niro is leading rhe WBFSH rankings for dressage, and just as an example - in 2012, the entire German Olympic dressage team was comprised of "D-line" horses.
