The sire Sagnol is a son of the incredibly popular sire Sandro Hit - truly a Hit in terms of approved sons, champion daughters, Bundeschampionat and FEI World Championships highlights, and now with offspring emerging at international Grand Prix level. The Sandro line was founded by the outstanding French TB Sacramento Song xx, who produced a number of good daughters and really left his mark with this collection of sons. Interestingly, he was very sparsly used in the Trakehner breed, but left the great mare Karmen II, whose son Kunta Kinte TSF was a Bundeschampin and CCI*** eventer and daughter Karama M was a Res Bundeschampion of the German event horse. Dam sire Landadel I died young, but was probably the most important of all Landgraf sons. He not only produced in the Holsteiner breed, but since he was staitoned in Oldenburg, left a number of outstanding sport horses and brood mares there as well, e.g. the dam of Stedinger.

The Holstein sires, Fantast and Colt in particular, ensure a willingness to perform and the Thoroughbred stallions, Frivol xx, Cottage Son xx and Anblick xx add refinement and toughness to his pedigree.

Sagnol comes from the famous Holstein mare line 776, the legendary Ramiro line that never ceases to produce great highlights such as the sires Acorado, Calvados, Cortino, Lordanos or Rouletto.

More about the dam Annaliese LS *M* can be found at her own page.
