Breeder: SportHorses NW, WA, USA

Elazar d'Arlington NW is an exceptional mover with incredible suspension, reach and elasticity especially in his trot. He received great comments at his GOV inspection and should make a fantastic sport horse. He has a very pleasing temperament and is easy to handle and work with.

The sire Edelweiss de Bonce is a Selle Francais stallion of excellent breeding. His sire was I Love You, winner of the World Cup in Vienna, and named AHSA Showjumper of the year in 1983. His dam, the French Anglo Arabian mare Jib'Or is also dam to Cool Fontaine, an approved AA stallion. With these two parents, some of the best jumper blood in the world is combined. The sire line via Alme traces back the TB foundation stallion The last Orange xx, probably the most important of all TB lines in the show jumper world. Through the dam, Arlequin AA makes an appearance. He was the sire of Zeus, the legendary SF stallion (offspring in France and Oldenburg), and Kwartet AA, the sire of the 1996 Olympic eventer Askar AA, whose son Halimey Go (Trakehner) just recently made an appearance in competition in the US.

As a performance horse, Edelweiss de Bonce began his dressage career at the French National Championships for 5 & 6 year old horses in Fontainebleau. Continuing his career, he was moved to Germany where he was trained through Grand Prix Dressage with Catherine Haddad. Upon being sold to the USA to Cory Walkey, Edelweiss continued his Dressage career with success at PSG and Intermediare I under Mette Rosencrantz.

More about the dam Lazara can be found at her own page.
